Funding is important to encourage the industry and provide active opportunities for every Western Australian. The Department builds partnerships with organizations that deliver sport and recreation to attain the mission of increasing the number of Western Australians who participate in sport and recreation. Participating in sport and active recreation. The Department supports targeted programs that aid to amplify sport and active pleasure participation levels by all Western Australians. Amusement and sport make an urgent contribution to the health and healthy being of all people, including people with disability. The Departments' Inclusion Officers labor with communities and sport and amusement organizations to identify projects, initiatives and development opportunities which help enlarge participation rates for these groups and develop inclusive environments. Working with the community to establish projects that foster increased sport and recreation participation. Developing resources that promote community participation in sport and recreation. Including people with disability in sport and recreation. The Department has a number of community programs that encompass all areas of our work, but have a particular focus on increasing participation in sport and active recreation.
